Wow! What a month…. Life in our area has been quite challenging lately with the ever swelling Thomas fire. Amid all the unpredictability of life and home, the community has been very supportive, positive. The fire fighters have been unbelievably dedicated – unrelenting commitment to the battle with the inferno. Life experiences like this month gives us an opportunity to “pause” and think about priorities. I am grateful for so much – How do I want to live in the future? For one, I will continue direct time to environmental causes perhaps even become more involve in projects such as my passion for preservation of environment through photography, lifestyle choices and volunteering for work with the Gaviota Coast Conservancy. In addition, I plan to continue to teach others how to increase their energies through plant focused nutrition and lifestyle.
Due to the fires, most appointments this week will be delayed. I will continue to go ahead with 2018 goals and schedule for Bodyfuel Nutrition. On January’s schedule is our Gluten Free workshop on Jan 18th in collaboration with with Michelle Aronson, owner of Farm Belly. As a hands-on workshop, this one will likely fill up fast. I hope you are safe and able to be in the company of family and friends this holiday season!
